We are always looking for passionate and committed volunteers who share our mission to join our team and help make a difference in the lives of children.
As a volunteer with Early Excellence, you will have the opportunity to work closely with students and support their academic and personal growth. Whether you have experience in teaching or just a desire to help, we welcome volunteers of all backgrounds and skill levels.
Volunteer Roles:
Tutoring: Our tutoring program provides one-on-one support to students who need extra help crafting stories. As a tutor, you will work with a student to identify areas of difficulty and provide individualized support to help them succeed.
Mentoring: Our mentoring program pairs volunteers with students who could benefit from a positive role model in their lives. As a mentor, you will work to build a relationship with your mentee and provide guidance and support as they navigate challenges and opportunities.
Classroom Support: Our classroom support program provides volunteers with the opportunity to assist teachers in the classroom. As a classroom volunteer, you will work with teachers to provide individualized attention to students, assist with classroom activities, and help maintain a safe and positive learning environment.
Volunteer Requirements:
We require all volunteers to undergo a background check and complete a training program before beginning their volunteer work. This training will provide you with the necessary skills and knowledge to work effectively with students and support their academic and personal growth.
Volunteer Commitment:
We ask that volunteers commit to at least six months of service with Early Excellence. This commitment helps to ensure that students receive consistent support and allows volunteers to build strong relationships with the students they serve.
